Executive Committee

Our Mission

The Executive Committee provides leadership, coordination, and oversight of the Neighborhood Council’s administrative and operational matters. Composed of the President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary, and chaired by the President, the Committee reviews and approves items for the General Board Meeting agenda.

Each Executive Officer carries out distinct responsibilities in support of the Council’s functions. The President leads and represents the Board and presides over General Board Meetings and Executive Committee Meetings; in the President’s absence, the Vice President assumes this role, followed by the Treasurer and then the Secretary, if necessary. The Vice President supports the President and assists with coordination of Council activities; the Treasurer oversees financial records, reporting, and budgeting; and the Secretary maintains official council records, including agendas, minutes, and the Council’s roster and calendar.

The Executive Committee meets virtually via Zoom on the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm to draft and set the agenda for the General Board meeting. Agendas are posted 72 hours prior to the meeting and can be found here, below, and the city website. To subscribe to our agendas and receive them by email, sign up here.
