EmpowerLA invites you to attend Empowering Communities: Understanding Neighborhood Councils’ Role in City Budget Advocacy, a virtual workshop on Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 6:00-7:30pm. This interactive session will provide a detailed overview of the City’s budget process and delve into the opportunities for Neighborhood Councils and communities to participate and make your voice heard throughout the budget cycle.
Additionally, you will receive an introduction to the Neighborhood Council Budget Advocates and learn how to actively engage in Budget Day in June. This session aims to prepare you with the tools you need to advocate for the essential City services & programs your neighborhood needs.
